Around the Farm
--a little more about Mary Mack--

Mary Mack Farms is a very family-oriented operation.  In addition to the owners, sisters Linda and Cynthia, the farm support team includes Keith (Cynthia's husband); Nicole, Andrew and Matthew (Cynthia's children); and
Mary Katherine, Cynthia and Linda's mother.

Mary Mack Farms is currently home to 22 horses.  We have one stud, one yearling stud, 11 mares and fillies, four foals, and five geldings.  Below are our riding geldings and other "Around the Farm" animals.

Boomer was one of our first Mary Mack foals.  He has been under saddle now for several years and is our "go to" trail horse.  We are comfortable putting a variety of riders on him, and Boomer does very well with this.  Click here for more information on Boomer.

LeRoy was named such because he was such a "bad" little colt.  Today, he is a gentle, sensible, intelligent, easy-going gelding that had turned out to be an excellent, smooth-riding trail horse.   LeRoy is currently being ridden by Cynthia's daughter, Nicole.  LeRoy is a smoky black by Brooke's Wind Dancer (ivory champagne) out of our mare, Ashley.

Keith loves to ride motorcycles.  Cynthia loves to ride horses.  Therefore, in honor of Keith's passion, she named her riding horse "He's My Kinda Harley MMF."  Harley is a three-year-old a classic champagne.  Like his (full) brother, LeRoy, he has a smooth gait and a laid-back disposition.  Harley is currently being trail ridden and has proven to be a great horse under saddle.

Murray State University is Keith's alma mater.  Therefore, he chose to name this horse Murray's Golden Racer.  Murray is a yearling gold champagne gelding.  He is by our stud and our mare, Trouble.  Murray has a great, friendly disposition and a wonderful gait.  He is also the darkest gold champagne that Mary Mack Farms has produced.  Murray is currently for sale ($3000 OBO) and just finished one month of training.  We will begin trail riding him this fall.

Jerome is a two-year old gelding out of our stud by our black mare, Ashley.  He will be started under saddle in Spring 2009.

At the farm, we have more than just horses.  The picture at right is of Matthew and his prize-winning Salers show cow.
