Brooke's Boy Trouble
Boomer, as he is fondly known, is a three-year-old chestnut gelding out of our mare Trouble. He is a "gentle giant," currently standing at 15.3 hands tall. He has a great disposition and is extremely easy to work with. He is very gentle, calm-natured, smart, and he loves attention. Boomer is broke to ride and has been on all of our trail rides. We started riding him Fall 2004. On our first trail ride, we went with a 4-H group. We were wondering how well a young, green-broke horse would respond to a large group of unfamiliar horses in a strange place, but we had NO need to worry. Boomer was a beauty. He has done very well ever since. Boomer currently is being ridden by a beginning-intermediate level adult rider. If you are looking for an extremely gentle, laid-back horse, then you are looking for Boomer. He can lead on the trail, but he is one of those horses that you can put behind another, and Boomer goes into his "auto pilot" mode. He would be great for any experience level, particularly beginning adults and teenagers. He loads well and has been shod. He is currently wearing shoes on the front. Boomer's markings include a blaze and two stockings, one on his front right leg and one on his back right leg.
